Coach Mike Ryan

Coach Mike Ryan brings a strong playing background and over a decade of coaching experience to the field. He began his collegiate career at Gavilan College, where he played two seasons before continuing his development at Simpson University. He later completed his college playing career at West Virginia University Institute of Technology.

In 2015, Coach Ryan signed to play independent professional baseball with the Glacier Outlaws in Whitefish, Montana.

Following his professional playing career, Coach Ryan transitioned into coaching and has been dedicated to developing high school athletes since 2015. He is currently in his third year as Manager of the South Bay Storm.

Coach Ryan’s philosophy centers on helping student-athletes reach the next level. His primary goal is to guide and support players in earning opportunities to play college baseball, assisting them through the recruiting process, transfers, and program signings while emphasizing growth both on and off the field.
