Jon Collins

Coach Jon Collins

Coach Jon Collins brings both professional playing experience and nearly a decade of hitting instruction to the field. He began his collegiate career at De Anza College, where he played from 2012–2014 before advancing to three years of professional independent baseball.

Following his playing career, Coach Collins transitioned into coaching and has served as a Professional Hitting Coach since 2016, specializing in player development, swing mechanics, and offensive approach.

In addition to his private instruction work, Coach Collins has expanded his impact at the high school level. He served as Varsity Assistant Coach at Lynbrook High School during the 2024–2025 seasons and is currently in his first year as an Assistant Coach with the South Bay Storm.

Coach Collins is dedicated to developing complete hitters and helping student-athletes build the skills and confidence needed to compete at the next level.
